Antonio is a musician and songwriter born and raised in Easton, PA. He’s the frontman for two music groups he formed respectively called, “Konoha Kids” and “JPAF”. We did a studio session for the first half of the day to shoot in front of a bright yellow backdrop with some stage lights while we waited for the light outside to get softer. Once we were outside, we made good use of the Springtime flowers and leaves as our big, beautiful backdrop.

For this session, we shot a mix of digital and film. I used a Mamiya 645 with Portra 800 for some detailed medium format portraits. To support the shallow DOF look and provide more variety, I also used my Fujifilm X-T3 with a 35mm f/0.95 lens for some dreamy close-ups, which came out great even in lower-light situations around the studio.
