Evan and I started our day doing a photo walk around my neighborhood in Alhambra. We looked equally for patches of good light and food, while we talked for hours about moving from New Jersey to California, his growing TikTok, and about how film photography “just hits different, bro.”

The portraits we made were taken on my Fuji X-T3, adapting an all-manual focus Nikkor 35mm f/2.8 AIS lens. We snapped a few black and white photographs using my Nikon F3 and one roll of Ilford HP5, pushed one stop.
