I had the honor of being shown around Pittsburgh, PA by my good friend, Jesse. I had just driven through Pennsylvania that morning, watching the leaves change to all kinds of colors and making some photographs along the way. Once we were reunited, Jesse showed me his town and all his favorite spots. He had a few outfits that he wanted to rock for our shoot, so we picked fits that would either contrast or compliment the mood of the scene.

Bonus story: After shooting two full rolls of Portra 800 with the Nikon F3, we were about to pack it in for the evening before being stopped on the Andy Warhol Bridge by a beautiful couple celebrating their ten-year wedding anniversary. They had just been bailed on by their day photographer. Well, since we’d been shooting all day and it was still golden hour, we banded together and shot their anniversary portraits. They tipped us for the photographs and then we went to celebrate a good day over some sushi and drinks. One of my favorite memories.
